Very Good condition, 7/10, Made in USA, including original black hardcase with blue lining and no logo, the serial number tells us the story that this guitar was made on the 157th day of 1978 (June 17th) in Nashville, TN, and was the 65th guitar made that day, added piece of brass on the back of the headstock (not sure why?), no breaks, original tuners but came to us with one missing bushing and a replaced neck volume knob, minimal fret wear in the original frets, the pots are dated 1377805 (5th week of 1978), stamped CHERRY in the neck pickup cavity, the original zebra neck pickup is stamped 137880 (this is the super rare and incredibly hard to find ZEBRA 1980 PAT. NO. 2.737.842 engraved Gibson humbucker, so one of the first post T-Top humbuckers), the bridge pickup and pickup ring was replaced before 1980 when the previous owner bought this guitar used, otherwise stock as it came from the factory, plays great!
