The Story Behind Your "Special V" RR3

• The Color & Layout: Standard production RR3 models from 2006 did not come in Ivory with black pinstripes and a fixed bridge. Jackson specifically manufactured this small batch to give players the iconic Randy Rhoads "Concorde" aesthetic at a bolt-on price point.
• The Pickups: While standard catalog 2006 Pro Series Jacksons were transitioning to USA Seymour Duncans, this specific limited run retained the stock Duncan Designed humbuckers (the high-output HB-102 set), keeping it 100% factory original just as you noted.
• The Bridge: Instead of the usual recessed Floyd Rose tremolo found on typical RR3s, this batch was built from the factory with a gold Tune-O-Matic bridge and an anchored string-through-body V-plate.
