1946 Gibson L-48 vintage archtop acoustic in good playing condition. This guitar is structurally solid with no cracks, breaks, repairs, or other issues — just honest cosmetic wear from nearly 80 years of playing and aging. It has the kind of natural patina and finish wear you’d expect from a well-loved vintage instrument.
I purchased it from Guitar Center recently, but after spending time with it, I realized the sound just isn’t for me. That’s the only reason I’m moving it along.
The guitar plays well, stays structurally stable, and has plenty of vintage character. Great option for collectors, jazz players, blues, or anyone looking for an authentic post-war Gibson archtop with real age and vibe.
Normal signs of wear include scratches, finish checking, edge wear, and small cosmetic marks consistent with age. No structural problems.
