This is an unplayed Les Paul Government Series I. Not even the pickguard has been installed, though a picture of it resting in position has been included. The only imperfection is shown on the last picture, if you squint you can see it. This is a rare opportunity to have a piece of Gibson history as the rosewood fretboard seizure by the government nearly put Gibson out of business. The seized rosewood was used to make the fretboard of this guitar. There are no series i Les Pauls are currently available on reverb in any condition, let alone one this nice. Included with the guitar is the unique green hardcase, the certificate of authenticity and other paperwork shown in the pictures. For shipping, I have purchased a guitar box from Chicago Music Exchange and will wrap it in bubble wrap, put latex mattress topper cushions in key areas, and fill the rest of the box with packing peanuts. Thank you for looking.
