The Carbide is Catalinbread’s take on the classic Interfax Harmonic Percolator-style circuit, delivering aggressive gated fuzz tones, sputtery textures, and rich harmonic overtones while still retaining impressive note clarity and articulation.
This pedal can go from tight, cutting fuzz to chaotic blown-speaker style destruction depending on how the controls are set and how hard the front end is pushed.
Very clean overall with only light cosmetic signs of use. Velcro attached to the bottom as shown.
