This is a real Phone J 300 made in Korea in 2004.Factory Origin & ValueEpiphone’s Korean-made instruments (often built in respected factories like Samick or Peerless) from the early to mid-2000s are highly regarded. Because of the solid spruce top, premium rosewood, and its limited production run, these guitars typically hold their value well. The Epiphone J-300 features higher-end tonewoods, including a solid spruce top and rosewood back and sides. In contrast, the standard 2004 Epiphone J-200 (often designated EJ-200) typically used a laminated spruce top and maple back and sides. The J-300's solid top provides a more resonant, aging acoustic tone.
