1966 Kustom 745 PA System – Vintage Tuck & Roll Frankenstein Era | Serviced & Working

For sale is a rare early 1966 Kustom 745 PA (serial #10500) complete with matching column speaker cabinets. This is a true “Frankenstein” tuck-and-roll era piece built by Ross Inc. in Chanute, Kansas — one of the earliest production models with the classic black Naugahyde sparkle vibe collectors love.

What’s Included:

Kustom 745 PA head (excellent cosmetic and functional condition)

Two original tall column speaker cabinets (each loaded with 4×10" speakers)

Original slipcovers for the head and both cabinets

Condition & Service History:

Recently serviced and tested — the head fires right up and performs great

Reverb works beautifully

Capacitors are in good condition

Head is in excellent shape with minimal wear

Some wear/scuffing on the Naugahyde on the bottom edges of the speaker cabinets (typical for 58-year-old road gear)

Original covers have some blemishes but are in good, usable condition

One speaker cabinet currently has a hum and lower volume — we are troubleshooting/repairing it now and selling the system AS-IS. The system has been fully tested and the other cabinet and head work excellently.

This is a fantastic-sounding vintage PA with clean headroom, perfect for small-to-medium venues, church gigs, rehearsals, or as a unique guitar/bass rig. Very collectible and increasingly hard to find as a complete matching set.

Local pickup only in Northeast Georgia — no shipping due to size/weight. Serious buyers only — please come check it out and test it yourself.
