I'm the original owner of this API 550A (purchased from Sweetwater in 2022). It was lightly used in my little bedroom / hobby studio. I bought a pair of these when I was interested in having some outboard gear for mixing. These days, I only use outboard gear for tracking and I don't really like to EQ on the way in.
This unit functions great and sounds great. I'll probably regret selling it, but I'm just in the midst of downsizing and I can't justify keeping it around given how infrequently I end up using it.
