1968 Martin N-20 (Willie Nelson ‘Trigger’ model and vintage)
Serial number: 247911
I am the original owner (Original Owner Certification from Martin). I purchased the instrument in early 1969 from Caruso’s Music at their original location 20 Bank St., New London, CT. I bought the instrument to study classical guitar privately in my junior and senior years in high school. I never pursued classical guitar beyond high school, but kept the instrument for personal use after that. I am a working bassist, so I never gigged with the instrument. There is virtually no play wear. The instrument has never been played with a pick, so there are no scratch marks on the top, and there are no scratches or “buckle marks” on the back.
The N-20 has a dark amber spruce top with Brazilian rosewood sides and back. The fingerboard is ebony. It has the original tuners and the original Martin case. The bridge was replaced at the Martin factory in the early 1980s. The finish on the guitar is original lacquer.
