Designed to clip onto a belt and powered by a 9-volt battery, the FA-1 features a FET input buffer, an op-amp gain stage, and an active Treble & Bass EQ & surprisingly useful Low Cut .
IMO, one of the BEST colorless clean-boosts I have ever heard, equal to the ZVEX SHO , with a couple of added & useful features.
In great shape for age, in 100% working order. No corrosion from battery leakage.s
Some minor marks & scratches, as expected from a 40+ year old piece of equipment.
