SSL Alpha Link MADI SX + SSL Opti-coax Converter — Bundle

A great opportunity to pick up this SSL Alpha Link MADI SX paired with the SSL opti-coax converter, sold together as a bundle.

The Alpha Link MADI SX is a high-quality multi-channel audio converter offering 48 channels of I/O — 24 analogue and 24 AES — bridging MADI and analogue/AES connections in a single unit. The opti-coax converter extends this by allowing the MADI signal to be carried over optical or coaxial connections, giving you flexible routing options in a larger studio setup. In my setup it was connected to an RME interface via the MADI coax connection and worked flawlessly.

Both units are pulled from my working studio and in perfect working order. I'm selling simply because I wasn't able to get the channel count I needed working within Pro Tools — this is a limitation of my setup, not the units themselves, and they'll be ideal for anyone with a DAW or interface that can make full use of MADI connectivity.
