A fine example of the quality of construction from the Kentucky brand in the 1980s, this A style mandolin features a solid spruce stop and solid maple back/sides. There is a line in the finish where the neck and body join, some cosmetic marks on one rim, and corrosion on the end pin. The action is quite comfortable, and the chop and lead notes are equally strong. 13 7/8" scale length and 1 1/8" nut width. A few tuners are stiff yet function, and a hardshell case with red interior is included.
