The Stampede DT SDT-2 Distortion Pedal from the Japanese boutique effect manufacturer Providence, delivers the sound of a tube amp with all controllers on 11! The basic sound is never washed and undifferentiated, the connected guitar retains its sound character. The 9 volt operating voltage is transformed internally to obtain a greater headroom. By Single Contact True Bypass an uninfluenced output is achieved. A Providence development is also to provide two earthing points in the pedal to achieve trouble-free ground contact.
