Fibes/Corder/Darwin Clone 14x24 Bass Drum - Ruby Red (No Spurs) C013-33

Part of a collection on consignment: This a clone of a Fibes 14x24 bass drum. The lugs are Corder/Darwin (no flange at the base of the casting). Not sure the make of the shell but it looks like a 6 ply Keller shell. There are two holes that were plugged on the top (see picture). The drum has a DIY ruby red lacquer finish. The finish is respectable but not great. There are some scattered dings and scratches. The inside of the shell looks like it had overspray that was then sanded off. The lugs have some grime and light pitting. Because there are no gaskets/spacers under the lugs the alignment of the tension rods is off so they don't thread perfectly smooth. The bearing edges are good (sharp 45s like an Austin Fibes). The heads are in good shape. The port ring on the reso head has a small split. Includes a pair of Evans pillows and a kick port. There are no spurs unfortunately. It's a good parts or project drum. I can include an old fiber case if sold locally. More pictures available on request.
