Up for sale is a beautiful 2018 Gibson ES-335 made in Nashville, Tennessee. This is a fantastic-playing and great-sounding semi-hollow with the classic ES-335 warmth, clarity, and resonance that made these guitars legendary.

Finished in a gorgeous Tobacco Burst, this guitar has developed a very tasteful naturally aged vibe with light finish checking and honest cosmetic wear that gives it a much more vintage-inspired appearance compared to a brand-new glossy example.

The guitar is resonant and extremely responsive acoustically even before plugging in. Plugged in, it delivers everything you would want from a good 335 warm neck pickup tones, articulate mids, smooth sustain, and excellent dynamic response for jazz, blues, rock, fusion, and beyond.

In my opinion, one of the nicest aspects of this guitar is the neck profile. It has a slightly thicker neck compared to many slimmer modern ES-335s, which gives the guitar a very comfortable substantial feel and contributes to a warm, full-bodied tone.

Condition:

Very good used condition overall. Structurally solid with no cracks, breaks, or repairs. Frets are in great shape and the guitar plays smoothly up and down the neck.

Cosmetically, the guitar shows normal signs of use including light finish checking/weather checking and minor dings/scratches consistent with a regularly played instrument. There is also a small ding near the headstock edge (pictured). None of these affect playability whatsoever.

This is an excellent player’s ES-335 with lots of character, vibe, and a naturally broken-in feel that many newer guitars simply do not have.
