Selling my AKG C151 in like-new condition — used exactly once, no signs of wear, all original accessories included.
The C151 is AKG's new small-diaphragm pencil condenser, introduced at NAMM 2026 as part of the brand's first all-new C-Series lineup in nearly two decades. It features a 16mm transformerless FET electret capsule, fixed cardioid polar pattern, 20Hz–20kHz frequency response, and handles up to 147dB SPL. No switches, no pads — pure plug-and-play.
Reviewers have called it the sleeper of the C-Series. Recording Magazine said it punches well above its weight class and occupies surprisingly similar sonic territory to AKG's own C451B — which retails for nearly six times the price. Tape Op's reviewer guessed it cost $400–500 before learning what it actually sells for. Especially strong on acoustic guitar, percussion, hi-hat, and drum overheads.
Retails new for $129. Grab it used for less.
