Up for sale is the legendary Peavey Rockmaster Tube Preamp. If you are looking for that ultimate, high-gain 80s/90s rock and metal tone, this is the rack unit that defined an era. Powered by four 12AX7 tubes, it delivers everything from pristine cleans to scorching, saturated lead tones.

This unit is in Good Condition. It shows some typical cosmetic rack rash and minor wear from age, but it is fully functional, all pots turn smoothly, and most importantly, it sounds absolutely massive. Footswitch included!

• • Clean: Surprisingly warm and sparkling with its own dedicated EQ and a push/pull bright switch.
  • Crunch: Perfect for classic rock rhythm, bluesy breakup, or heavy thrash riffing.
  • Ultra: Meltdown levels of gain with incredible sustain, compression, and harmonic richness.
• Voicing Controls: The Crunch and Ultra channels feature independent Gain and Level controls, a shared 3-band EQ, and pull-pots for shifting frequencies (Pulls for Crunch Gain, Ultra Gain, and Ultra Body).

One of the best features of the Rockmaster is its insane routing flexibility. It is a dream for complex rack setups or studio tracking:

• Multiple Effects Loops: It features five separate effects loops:
• • 1 x Common Effects Loop (affects all channels)
  • 1 x Clean Channel Loop (only active on the clean channel)
  • 1 x Crunch Channel Loop (only active on the crunch channel)
  • 1 x Ultra Channel Loop (only active on the ultra channel)
  • 1 x Crunch/Ultra Loop (shared between the dirty channels)
• Outputs: Includes a standard Balanced Line Out for power amps, and a Preamp Output

Please Note: This is a vintage piece of rack gear. It has some scratches on the top and bottom chassis from being slid into rack cases over the years, but the front faceplate looks great
