For sale or best offer is a vintage 1970s Fernandes FYB-70 Eikichi Yazawa bass with a rare white finish. Also known as the "Biwa Bass", this is the signature model of Eikichi Yazawa, one of Japan's most renowned rock and roll icons. It has a 3-piece maple body, maple neck, Grover tuners, and maple fingerboard. Equipped with original, L11 pickups, this bass has an edgy, forward sound, with clear low and punchy low end.

It has some nicks and dings here and there, but it is in overall really great shape. Two of its knob labels are missing, but all else appears original. It weighs 9 lbs, 6 oz. Super rare and so cool!

It has been professionally setup and comes with its original hardshell case, which couldn't fit it any better.
