The Behringer CP35 Attenuators is a Eurorack-format utility module that provides flexible, vintage-style signal control for analog synthesizers. It is an authentic, historically accurate reproduction of the original modules used in 1970s Modular 55, 35, and 15 series synthesizers. [1, 2, 3]The CP35 includes three core utilities to help route and shape your Control Voltage (CV) and audio signals: [1, 2, 3, 4]
- Four Passive Attenuators: These allow you to scale back and control the strength of your input signals (from zero to unity gain). They are normalized from left to right, meaning you can send a single source into the first input and get four differently attenuated versions of it from the various outputs.
- Two Multiples: These split a single input signal into multiple identical copies to send to different destinations in your synth. The module provides two banks of four-socket jacks for this purpose.
- Constant Voltage References: It provides dedicated outputs for \(+6 \text{ V}\) and \(-6 \text{ V}\) reference voltages, which can be used to offset or shift your CV signals
