Great example of a mid 80's Made in Japan Stratocaster in the very pretty candy apple red finish. Honestly one of the better strats I've ever played in 25 years of playing guitar.
Sounds killer, low easy to play action and a super fast neck. Not more you can ask for.
This is from the contemporary series, serial number (pictured) puts it between 85-86. This series features the S1 tremolo system and locking nut which works very well. Honestly shocked at how good this tremolo system is compared to floyd roses of the time. Stays in tune and the tremolo moves smoothly and is responsive.
Guitar is 100% stock with the exception of the plastic tip for the pickup selector. Some general wear and tear for a 40 year old guitar, all of which is pictured. The worst of it being a small ding above the middle pickup and a ding on the upper edge. Paint otherwise looks incredible up close.
Sounds great and the bridge pick up in particular is extremely strat-y. Professional set up and restrung with elixirs last month, this thing is ready to go out of the box and ready for decades more of use.
Comes with a vintage hardshell case, kind of a poodle style. I can't find any brand name on it but it is old for sure. Three latches and a lock (no key)
