This is a Fender Lead II Neck from 1980 with the original Fender Schaller tuning machines. These were Stratocaster necks newly decaled for the Post-CBS Dan Smith Fender Era. The remaining Strat necks from the sale were used on the Lead Series (Stratocaster headstocks were redesigned after the sale), the Telecaster necks were used on the Bullet Series.
The solid feeling neck has dings and wear from 46 years of use, there is a pretty good amount of fret-wear left, truss rod unmolested, the only things missing are the string trees which had been replaced by some kind of high tech aftermarket units, immediately removed and discarded. Great USA vintage Strat style neck ready to bolt on.
L@@K - - - - - Use REAL vintage Fender parts on so called "parts-casters"! That, is the real deal. After all, they did it first.
