Brian Moore MC/1 1994 Guitar #141
Up for sale is a Brian Moore USA MADE MC-1, one of the brand’s flagship high-end custom models from the 1990s.
This early-era MC-1 features an innovative construction combining a carbon composite structure with a neck-through design and premium tonewoods, delivering excellent sustain, stability, and resonance.
It has a thin "D" neck with 24 frets that show little to no wear. HOWEVER, on the side of the neck, some of the clear finish has chipped off over the years, which you can see on closer inspection.
The stunning Blue/Black quilted maple top paired with chrome hard ware gives this guitar high-end visual appeal. Back in the day, these models were positioned to compete with high-end PRS guitars.
Equipped with a Seymour Duncan HSH pickup configuration, this guitar covers a wide tonal range—from clean tones to high-gain applications with ease.
The fixed tailpiece is made by Wilkinson and the tuners are locking Sperzel. Pickups are Seymour Duncans. Freshly set up with 10 gauge strings, This guitar weighs 7lbs., 6oz..
You don't see many MC1s for sale because most owners don't want to part with them. So why am I selling it. I am old and need to thin the herd and not leave my wife with a room full of guitars.
This is a USA MC1 not the cheaper Korean made models
