Only selling grudgingly - I have owned this for 2 years and it has been faultless, stays in tune like a champ. Just needs to make way for something else now - so hope it goes to a true U2 / Edge fan (as was it's intention all along).

Fender The Edge Artist Series Signature Stratocaster.

The Edge Signature Stratocaster, now discontinued and highly regarded by players for good reason. These particular signature Strats are known for having impeccable fit and finish, and this one is no different. So good, The Edge has all but retired his vintage Strats from live duties and plays these, stock from Fender.

Lighterweight Alder bodies were specifically chosen together with specially selected maple blocks for the quarter sawn necks, which are finished with lovely rolled fingerboard edges and shaped to a modern C. It feels fantastic to play.

The awesome Custom Shop Fat 50 pickups are fitted to the neck and middle position and a DiMarzio FS-1 covers the bridge position. Needless to say this Strat sounds amazing.

Condition is very good bordering excellent. There are no chips just some three micro dings on the lower horn shown in photo with red box, and one dimple on front (in red box). Unless you are inspecting closely you wont notice any flaws. A fantastic looking and playing guitar.

There are some very fine pick marks on the scratchplate from playing - but again they are very faint. The frets are unmarked as is the neck. It really is in great shape.

It comes with the trem arm but not the original case or COA (original guitar tag with factory check is included). It is supplied with a Fender Hard Shell Case. (it came to me like this - I have checked it's serial code on Fender website and all matches)

Increasingly sought after for good reason. Easily the one of the best Artist Signature guitars Fender has ever made.
