Greco Phoenix Bass MIJ Neck Through Bass Natural Finish Vintage Japan

Made in Japan Greco Phoenix bass in natural finish.

Very cool vintage Japanese bass with a unique body design, brass hardware, and a great late 70s / early 80s MIJ look and feel. Features include PJ-style pickups, ebony-look fingerboard, brass bridge, and onboard controls for tonal flexibility.

This bass has just been cleaned and restrung and plays with nice action. The neck feels solid and comfortable and the bass has a strong, punchy sound with plenty of low-end character.

Cosmetically, the bass shows honest age and use throughout including scratches, dings, edge wear, finish wear, oxidation/patina on the hardware, and general cosmetic wear consistent with age. There are a few noticeable dings and chips around the body edges and some visible wear to the gold/brass hardware as shown in the photos.

The electronics appear functional and the bass retains its original Greco Phoenix branding and unique pickup configuration.
