As a founding member of Lamb of God, John Campbell has been the source of the powerful low end for this famed American heavy metal band since 1994. His LTD Signature Series JC-4 bass offers all of the quality, playing feel, and tone that you’ll need for any kind of music where bass is essential. Based on the ESP Stream body shape, the JC-4 has bolt-on construction at 34” scale, using a swamp ash body and five-piece maple/purple heart neck with a fast-playing thin-u neck contour. The Macassar ebony fingerboard includes 21 extra-jumbo frets, split block inlays, and glow-in-the-dark side markers. This well-balanced bass includes high-end components like Hipshot Ultralight tuners and a Hipshot A Style bridge with slotted saddles. The sound of the JC-4 is powered by a set of Fishman SB-1 active pickups. These are versatile multi-voice pickups that offer flexible tone sculpting with excellent dynamic range and articulation. Its controls include volume with push-pull to engage single-coil mode, bass/treble stacked 2-band EQ, and a 3-way mini toggle switch to select between three pickup voicings. Includes deluxe hardshell form-fit ESP case.
