For sale is a Ryoji Matsuoka M65 classical guitar, made in Japan.

Ryoji Matsuoka guitars are well-regarded Japanese classical guitars, known for strong build quality, warm and well-rounded tone, and excellent value. The M65 is a higher tier option from that Matsuoka workshop, great for anyone looking for a quality Japanese-made nylon-string classical guitar.

This guitar features a solid cedar top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, ebonized rosewood fingerboard, 650 mm scale length, and 52 mm nut width.

This guitar sounds beautiful, with a mature classical tone with good sustain and response. The instrument is very comfortable to play with a low action height of approx 2.25mm at the low E, and 2mm at the high E string. Strung with a brand sew set of D'Addario Pro Arte EJ45 normal tension nylon strings.

Condition:
This guitar is in good used condition with normal signs of age and use. There are some small dings, scratches and imperfections, consistent with the age of this used instrument. There is one ding of note that has broken through the surface finish, on the left side of the guitar top- it does not affect the structural integrity or playability, but is noted and pictured. The bridge is secure, the neck appears straight and the guitar is ready to play.

*Note - the 3 fret markers on the side of the neck are just stickers. They are not permanent, and can be removed.
