1998 Ibanez RG570 Iron Pewter w/ V-Series Pickups.
The RG570 is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez for 1997. It was made in Japan by FujiGen.
This model replaced an earlier RG570 which has slightly different specs. This new model was available only in the USA until 2002 when it was also offered in Europe. The previous model continued to be offered in Japan through 1997.
The RG570 features a basswood body bolted to a maple neck with a bubinga "skunk stripe" and a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with dot position markers. It has Ibanez V7 and V8 humbucking pickupsflanking an Ibanez S1 single-coil; the pickups are mounted to pickup rings. Components include an original Edge double locking tremolo bridge, a locking nut and Gotoh tuning machines.
In very good condition for it’ age.
Finish, frets, fret board are very nice.
Was tough to photograph because of glare; shiny finish.
Please note the small nicks on body; or should I say character for a 98.
Comes with tremolo bar and a ESP hardshell case.
