Innovative Percussion has expanded the very popular Jim Casella Series keyboard mallet series with this IP1003X model, which is a heavier version of our existing IP1003. This model is built with extra weight in the core and an oversized birch handle (11/32" diameter) to provide for a brighter articulation and extra projection.
These mallets are designed to meet the demands of both the indoor and outdoor marching percussion ensemble. Each marimba model features a rubber core for maximum projection and the warmest fundamental tone. These mallets are also wrapped with a custom synthetic yarn which offers a full, warm sound characteristic with proven strength and durability.
