This rare 30+ year-old "ST-54" special edition was created by Fender to be a faithful replica of the very first Stratocasters.

Among its premium features are an Ash Body and Fender "Custom Shop USA" labeled pickups.

"N 0" PREFIX:

The guitar carries an N 0 prefix serial number which identifies that it was built at the "Fuji-Gen" factory in Nogano, Japan. This facility earned a reputation for producing some of the best Fenders in the world, exceeding many US production guitars of the era in fit, finish and consistency.

TONE / FEEL:

This guitar has the lively, immediate response that ash body Strats were known for with excellent snap and clarity. The Custom Shop USA pickups provide richness and articulation, adding to the guitar's vintage Strat character.

CONDITION:

There is a pencil-head size gouge along the lower side of the body near the jack input (see photo) and some minor visible fretwear but otherwise the guitar is overall in Very Good Condition with a nice sheen to the body finish, neck and fretboard.

Comes with (it's original?) era-correct factory Fender Custom Shop fitted case, also in Very Good Condition.
