You are viewing a Vintage Gibson RB-175 customized Longneck Open Back Banjo from the 60s or 70s in a Natural Finish. This Banjo has been professionally set up by our in-house technicians to play and sound its best. For the best look at the cosmetic condition of this banjo, please view the photos.

Information Thanks to a Reverb friend . Will ,we were advised this is a Gibson Banjo with custom headstock work. inlays and nice inlays on fingerboard. We have no idea who or when this work was done but it is done very well. See the pictures. As there is no serial number , we believe this instrument is from the 1960s or possibly the 1970s (see pictures of the original case, which may help date the instrument).

Features:
This instrument is finely constructed, featuring Grover machine heads, high-quality pearl inlays on the headstock, snowflake inlays on the fingerboard, and an abalone inlay at the 13th fret. It has been shop-adjusted, plays extremely well, and sounds great. For those familiar with long-neck banjos, this is similar to the Pete Seeger long-neck banjos made by Vega.

See photos for the best view of the cosmetic condition. Includes original soft-shell case.

Video of it played-soon to follow.
