One Bugbear & Manticore CULTIST (1967) Guitar Effects Pedal.

The CULTIST is my take on the Fuzz Face. The CULTIST (1967) edition is based on the classic germanium Fuzz Face pedals of the 1960s.

This pedal is loaded with Philips and Frako capacitors. Carbon comp resistors. Cliff jacks, a Gorva footswitch, and proper Omeg potentiometers. As well as one NKT CV7005 transistor and one Mullard OC42 transistor. This pedal can only be powered from a 9v battery, so a brand new GP Greencell battery with be included. There is also a battery kill switch on the side of the pedal, so you do not have to unplug your instrument cables.

This is in a Hammond 1590P1 enclosure, which is on the larger side. Please see the last photo for a size comparison against other pedals. Other pedals are NOT included.

Most germanium transistors are extremely sensitive to heat and temperature changes. Their optimal operating temperature is approximately 72° degrees Fahrenheit. By default, I am including a bias knob on the side of the pedal with a mark on where to set the bias in a 72° degree room. If your playing area is hotter, gradually turn the knob to the right. If your playing area is freezing, gradually turn the knob to the left.

This pedal comes with an instruction card, two stickers, one GP Greencell battery, and the box.

While this pedal is brand new, because it is handmade there may be dents, dings, scratches, scruffs, marks, streaks, nicks, scrapes, spots in the paint and/or graphics that do not photograph well.
