It represents the final run produced before Gibson restructured its catalogue into the "Original Collection" and "Modern Collection" later that same year. The 2019 Traditional specifically harks back to the construction methods of late-1950s golden-era Les Pauls, with no weight relief cavities inside its body, and completely hand-wired internal electronics.
