Personal Thoughts:
The UV777 is one of the most iconic 7-strings ever made, and by 2007 the Prestige-era examples had become incredibly well sorted guitars. This one has all the things people really want from a proper Japanese Universe — basswood body, 5-piece maple/wenge neck, Edge Pro 7 trem, Blaze II pickup set and the classic disappearing pyramid inlays. The black finish with white binding always works brilliantly on these too, because it keeps the guitar looking sharp and aggressive without being overcomplicated. I also think the Prestige neck construction is a big part of why these are so respected, as they tend to feel incredibly stable and fast while still having enough substance to suit a 7-string properly. The Blaze II set is another big plus, giving the guitar that tight, articulate, unmistakably late-period Universe voice. A very cool MIJ 7-string and one of the benchmark Vai models.

Condition Report:
Excellent condition. There are a couple of very tiny pinprick marks to the front and a slight paint chip around the back plate. Importantly there are no neck pocket cracks present. Overall it is a very clean example, and the guitar is fitted with an aftermarket custom pickguard.
