10 Nos STMicroelectronics 2N2222A NPN transistors. A great low noise option for any circuit that requires a low to medium gain NPN transistor. Works great for silicon fuzz faces, and as a lower gain option for a Big Muff. Datasheet indicates a gain (hfe) range of 75-350 hfe. 4 randomly selected transistors tested with a Peak Atlas DCA55 measured as follows:
Ex 1.=215 hfe, Ex 2.= 213 hfe, Ex 3.= 217 hfe, Ex 4.= 219 hfe
These are marked with a red dot, judging from the 4 transistors tested they seem to have been gain selected into a tight grouping around 220 hfe.
