Selling a well loved 1989 Gibson Les Paul Custom!

I'm looking to downsize my collection into fewer but nicer guitars, getting a feeling for interest but happy to keep them as well.

There isn't a surface on this guitar that doesn't have some sort of wear or swirl marks. I tried to get a picture of every angle, please ask for photos of any specific area if you don't see what youre looking for.

Mostly original, the factory wiring wasn't functioning correctly so I dropped in a new RS wiring harness, the original will be included in the case. The original strap buttons are also included, there are gold straplocks on it now. The gold truss rod cover screws are not original.

The pickups are original 490r/t set. Pat number engraved in the back, neck reads 7.4k, bridge reads 7.6k. The neck pickup ring has started falling apart as shown, I've left it alone because a new ring just wouldn't look right to me.

Near the top strap button the paint has flaked away, and the heel of the headstock shows what looks like a finish crack, does not look like its in the wood. The nut should be replaced soon, the high strings are starting to sit a little low in the nut slots and open strings might have a small buzz when picked hard. All metal hardware has corrosion, but does not affect functionality. Holds tune great!
