This is a Gibson Kalamazoo KM-21 mandolin from 1941. The serial # is EK5272, and the wood stamp 586 K. The mandolin is totally original. The mandolin is very clean. The one issue is that the top has sunken slightly between the F hloles above the bridge (see photos). My read on it is that it was left strung up for years. I could not move the tuners when I got it. They're fine now. The body is extremely clean (see photos). Neck is straight. Some playing wear on the V shaped mahogany neck. The rosewood fingerboard and frets show wear at the first 5 positions. The mandolin should set up nicely. Comes with a non original SSC. Thanks for looking and best of luck!
