The Cornerstone Imperium is a dual overdrive pedal that combines two distinct circuits: the Gladio SC and the Antique. Designed to blend the smooth, touch-sensitive characteristics of a John Mayer-style screamer with the dynamic richness of a Robben Ford-inspired Dumble tone, the Imperium allows users to operate each channel independently or stack them for more complex textures. The pedal features a dedicated CLEAN control on the Gladio side, which reintroduces the clean signal into the output path without compressing or filtering it, enhancing note articulation and bottom-end presence. On the Antique side, a PRESENCE knob shapes the high-mid and treble response after the clipping stage, offering a fine degree of tonal clarity and edge.

Imperium V2 includes four independent I/O jacks, providing flexible routing options and the ability to insert effects between the two channels or reorder their stacking configuration. Switching functions include normal on/off per channel, Direct Stack mode for simultaneous activation, and Flip Flop mode for toggling between channels. Each circuit is voiced to work either standalone or in combination, delivering a range from subtle drive to saturated lead tones with sustain and harmonic depth. All controls are responsive to pick dynamics, making the Imperium a versatile tool for expressive playing across blues, fusion, and rock contexts.
