Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 1998 Fender Tele-Sonic w/ Rosewood Fingerboard Electric Guitar finished in Brown Sunburst. This distinctive and increasingly sought-after model from Fender blends elements of several classic guitar designs into one unique and highly versatile instrument. Produced during Fender’s late-’90s experimental era, the Tele-Sonic combines Telecaster-inspired styling with a short-scale feel, chambered mahogany construction, and a pair of powerful DeArmond 2K single-coil pickups for a voice all its own.
The Honduran Mahogany body features 11 internal tone chambers, giving the guitar enhanced resonance, warmth, and a lightweight, lively feel. Its 24.75” scale length offers a slinkier playing experience familiar to Gibson players, while the maple neck and rosewood fingerboard retain Fender-style comfort and clarity.
Tonally, the dual U.S. DeArmond 2K pickups deliver thick, articulate tones with more midrange punch and fullness than a traditional Telecaster, yet with greater clarity and bite than standard humbuckers. The result is a rich, dynamic sound equally suited for rock, blues, indie, alternative, and roots music.
The Brown Sunburst finish paired with the black pickguard and rosewood fingerboard gives this Tele-Sonic a sleek, understated vintage-inspired aesthetic that perfectly matches its boutique-style character.
This example remains very clean overall and comes complete with its Original Molded Fender Hardshell Case.
Condition is rated at 9.4/10 – Excellent. There are pickguard scratches present, with the rest of the instrument remaining very clean overall and showing only light signs of use.
