Lovies Guitars is excited to present this 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom Electric Guitar finished in Tobacco Sunburst. This late-’70s Custom from Gibson delivers the powerful sustain, rich tone, and unmistakable visual elegance that have made the Les Paul Custom one of the most iconic professional-grade guitars ever built.

Featuring a solid mahogany body with carved maple top construction, this Les Paul Custom offers thick lows, pronounced mids, smooth highs, and exceptional sustain. The Tobacco Sunburst finish paired with multi-ply binding, block inlays, and gold hardware gives this guitar the upscale vintage aesthetic that defines the Les Paul Custom legacy.

This example remains largely original with the exception of a replaced neck volume potentiometer. It comes complete with its Original Hardshell Case (OHSC).

Condition is rated at 9.4/10 – Very Good. There is aging to the pickup covers, some buckle rash on the back, and noticeable wear on the back of the neck from play over the years. Overall, it remains a clean and well-preserved vintage Les Paul Custom with strong player appeal.
