This Harmony Stratotone H44 is a late-’50s example (the pickup is dated July 1957) that appears to have been refinished, with an updated output jack and some replaced screws; the original volume and tone knobs remain. It’s in fair condition with high action and plenty of honest age wear, including cracking in the finish, a scratched/marked/discolored pickguard, and slightly bent tuners that still function properly. Controls include a single pickup with volume and tone, plus the factory-style tone on/off switch; there’s also a ground wire connected to the underside of the tailpiece. Does not play perfectly. Can use some work and love.
