FOR SALE: Gretsch USA 12x8 Rack Tom in Champagne Sparkle, from 1970's
This drum is in good condition, but has been drilled for a Yamaha Tom Arm mounting bracket. The holes are documented in photos. The drum still holds an amazing tone in spite of these holes. Other than that, the drum is in great condition for its age and has the original dampening mechanisms on both sides. There is some cosmetic rash on the champagne sparkle wrap. I would definitely consider this as trending toward being a "Players" condition drum, though definitely not completely beat to hell. The drum takes Remo Classic Fit-sized heads, contemporary standard drum heads are too small in circumference to fit properly.
