This A-900 was manufactured by Yanagisawa, Japan, in the 1990s as a professional horn inspired by the Selmer-Paris Super Action 80. This A-900 is very nice ergonomically, as expected from Yanagisawa. Tone-wise, it’s great for classical or jazz.
This particular horn has been recently professionally overhauled and serviced. As you can see in the pics, the pads are new and set properly, assuring excellent playability and response right out of the case.
The bell-key table is in excellent operational condition, as are all the palm keys. There is no damage on the horn; everything works as it should.
There are some scratches and places where lacquer has worn off due to use, but none of these surface imperfections affects playability or functionality.
The sax comes in the original case.
