Charvel USA Custom Shop Joe Duplantier Signature Model:

First off, we’re huge Gojira fans and we’ve owned a few different Joe Duplantier signature models. The Charvel USA Custom Shop Joe Duplantier Signature Model showcases the superior quality of Charvel USA Custom Shop, and this model is an excellent example of what a Custom Shop quality guitar should be. We love this model so much, that we own one in Satin Black, and one in Satin Gray.

We discovered several months ago that Joe Duplantier is no longer endorsed by Charvel, and now is endorsed by ESP. We wanted to get more information, so we reached out directly to Charvel to see how many of these Charvel USA Custom Shop Signature models were made. To our surprise they only made 64 of these guitars for the entire production run. The earlier versions have the JD serial prefix and the later ones use the UC serial prefix, but for entire production run (2014-2024) they only made 64. With that information from Charvel, we now know that this model is the rarest of the Joe Duplantier Signature models that‘s ever been produced and will continue increasing in value for years to come (See Email Photos). As matter of fact even the Joe Duplantier entry and intermediate level Indonesian made Signature models are selling for more than when they were new, which is testament of how sought after these signature models are.

This Charvel was purchased brand new and has only been played in our studio. It comes with the original case and accessories. This Charvel is in excellent condition with no scratches, dents, or dings, and it’s been setup perfectly with nice low and consistent action (See Photos).

The Joe Duplantier USA Signature San Dimas Style 2 is designed with the latest in Charvel high performance, and features Duplantier's preferred style and specs, as well as monster tone equal to his band's name from dual Charvel custom MFB humbucking pickups.

The San Dimas Style 2 body has a specially contoured heel for easy access to the upper reaches of the fingerboard, and the bound mahogany neck has a smooth oiled back finish and convenient truss rod adjustment wheel at the body end. Other premium features include a 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets and special 12th-fret Gojira "G" mother of pearl inlay, three-way toggle pickup switching and single knurled control knob (volume) in special placement slightly back from playing position, Tune-O-Matic bridge with stop tailpiece and Charvel locking tuners. Available in Flat Black or Flat Gray with matching headstock and black hardware. Hardshell case included.
