For sale we have a 2011 Epiphone Casino in Limited Edition Metallic Gold finish with non-original hardshell case. A stylish twist on one of the most iconic hollowbody electrics ever produced, this Epiphone Casino combines vintage inspired looks with the airy, raw voice that made the Casino a favorite among many well-known players of both the past and present. Finished in striking Metallic Gold, this fully hollow thinline delivers classic 1960’s character with modern playability and versatility at a very approachable price point. This particular example is in very good used condition overall showing honest play wear with strum wear across the surface of the body on the bass side of the strings, across the pickup covers and on the pickguard. There are light surface scuffs and scratches scattered sparsely throughout the top and back of the body with the majority of visible wear on the backside. The nickel hardware (pickup covers, bridge, tailpiece, pickguard bracket) show some pitting/oxidation, likely from exposure to humidity or some type of acidic substance (hand sweat/oils). The instrument has been played and enjoyed but overall well kept. Structurally sound, the guitar is crack, break and repair-free. All parts are original to the very best of our knowledge.
