This 1969 Mark VI Alto saxophone, known in our shop as the "boathorn",  is a horn that has lived a life of adventure and yet still refuses to retire. Having spent a significant portion of its life aboard a boat, it shows wear and cosmetic damage consistent with what you would expect from woodwinds in wet environments.

While the horn is cosmetically relic, its core and bones are still a mighty Mark VI from the golden age of Mark VI's. It has been recently fully overhauled by our professional in house technicians, and restored to excellent playing condition with pisoni pro pads and domed metal resonators.

If you want a horn that looks like it has lived a full life and bares its scars, while still maintaining a high standard of playability you would expect from a Mark VI, this horn has lots of life recently restored into it and it is ready to play. Case included.
