This guitar has been cleaned, tuned, and adjusted so it is ready to play immediately. I have personally played and checked the setup to confirm everything is in good playing condition.
The YAMAHA S21 was a model produced in the 1980s with the catchphrase “Excellent fingering and sparkling highs,” designed with a focus on playability and tone quality. The S Series included three models: S51, S21, and S11. The S21 was positioned as the mid-level model, but despite that classification, it features an all-solid-wood construction.
It produces the rich resonance characteristic of a folk-style body along with a very balanced tone. The clarity of fingerstyle playing stands out especially well, making it an excellent guitar not only for fingerpicking but also for singing accompaniment.
◆ Top: Solid Spruce
- There was a crack on the top caused by an impact, but it has been professionally repaired with no issues whatsoever.
◆ Back & Sides: Solid Rosewood
◆ Neck: Mahogany
◆ Tuners: Function perfectly. Strings have been replaced with new ones (slight tarnishing may be present).
