Vintage RARE 1964 Palmer by Kawai Japan Solid Body Twin Gold Foil Guitar Mirror'd Pickguard New Strings Pro Setup Original Soft Shell Case

A Very RARE Made in Japan Guitar back in the 1960's...

Its a Vintage 1964 Palmer made by Kawai in Japan Solid Body Twin Gold Foil Electric Guitar. It has the cool Mirror'd Pickguard, New Strings, Pro Setup and even the Original Soft Shell Case.

We had our Tech go over this one and checked all the electronics as well as setting it up with awesome playing action. He loves the tone of the Twin Gold Foil Pickups but said they would be much louder with spacers under them to get them closer to the strings. We left them alone but offer that as a suggestion for the new owen. The Rocker switches work great and the knobs turn freely. The frets look untouched and the truss rod works great.

Minor dings and scratches as expected for a 1960's guitar. No breaks and the neck is nice and straight!

We love the fully adjustable bridge. The only thing missing is the whammy bar. We couldn't find one to fit properly. It functions well as a hard tail however. It will stay much more in tune this way!

Kawai made many guitars back in the 1960's. No dates on this one to determine its age but we are close calling it a 1964. Kawai made many brands for import into the USA such as ..Audition, Apollo, Encore, Heit, Kent, Ibanez, Noble, Norma,Telestar and Zim Gar...All excellent branded guitars like this Palmer...

The guitar weighs only 6 lbs 11 ozs...it has a 25 1/2 inch scale neck and the nut measures a full 1 3/4 inches...Nice round C neck profile that feels great in the hand...

Check out the original Soft Shell Case. Fits it great and its in as nice of shape as the guitar..

Beautiful condition but its vintage and used so its sold as is no returns. Thanks for respecting that.
