Great pedal! Works perfectly. Lived on a pedal board and has the velcro to prove it. One of the most popular reverb pedals of all time.
This is the original big-box V1 Holy Grail Reverb — the larger enclosure version with the classic industrial styling and famously lush Spring and Hall modes.
Used by John Frusciante, Jim Root, Kevin Parker, Ed O'Brien, Jeff Beck, John Mayer, Joe Perry, Nels Cline, Snowy White, Joanne Shaw Taylor, and Lockett Pundt.
The Holy Grail delivers lush studio-quality ambience in a simple, road-ready stompbox. Featuring three distinct reverb modes (Spring, Hall, and the wonderfully weird Flerb) it recreates classic amp-style reverb tones with remarkable realism and character. The one-knob layout makes it easy to dial in everything from subtle depth to huge atmospheric washes.
Many players still prefer the original V1 for its slightly darker and smoother character compared to later Nano versions. The Spring mode in particular became something of a modern classic for indie, alternative, shoegaze, and ambient guitar tones.
Please note that this is the original large-format version and requires a 9V DC / 500mA power supply, so be sure your setup can accommodate it.
Features:
- Spring, Hall, and Flerb reverb modes
- Original large “big box” enclosure
- 9V DC / 500mA operation
- Single Reverb mix control
- True bypass switching
- Digital reverb engine voiced for guitar
- Classic EHX industrial styling
Works great and sounds excellent.
