Here’s a rare one — a Fernandes “The Function” Super Strat in striking red with a black pickguard. While this isn't the official Brad Gillis signature model, it definitely carries that unmistakable vibe. If you’re after that early Night Ranger/Ozzy-era look and feel, this guitar nails it.

Built with Fernandes' high standards from the era, this one is in very good condition overall. No cracks or breaks, and only expected playwear and fretwear. The neck is fast and comfortable, and the guitar is ready to rip right out of the box.

A killer ‘80s-style shredder with both collector appeal and stage-ready playability. Comes with the awesome Head Crasher FRT-6C Tremolo (strings through the rear saddle screws)

Every guitar I sell gets a solid setup to ensure it’s clean, dialed in, and ready to play:

• Fully cleaned body and neck
• Fretboard cleaned and oiled (for rosewood or ebony boards)
• Frets polished to a shine
• Fresh set of Ernie Ball Slinky 9's
• Tuned to E Standard
• Bridge leveled with the body
• Bridge and string height adjusted for optimal action
• Bridge pickup height set
• Truss rod adjusted as needed

Most buyers find my setups to be spot-on and ready to go (just check my feedback). That said, every player is different—if something doesn’t feel just right, consider taking it in for a full setup to match your personal preferences.

📦 Packing & Shipping

I pack guitars like I’d want them packed myself:

• Strings loosened and tremolo supported for safe transit
• Headstocks (especially tilt-back designs) receive extra protection
• Accessories are wrapped separately to avoid contact with the guitar
• If shipped without a case, the guitar is fully bubble-wrapped and surrounded by padding inside a proper guitar shipping box
• Boxes are clearly labeled with directional arrows to prevent upside-down handling
• Shipped via UPS or FedEx Ground using Reverb’s Safe Shipping (insured + signature required)

• Photos are part of the item description—please review them carefully
• Older guitars often have common neck pocket cracks—ask for extra pics if you'd like
• Most of my inventory is imported from Japan. While I do a setup and brief test, I don’t play them extensively and can’t guarantee every minor detail is perfect
• Minor issues like a stripped screw, a scratch I missed, a noisy pot, or a loose wire from shipping are possible

You’ll often see other sellers list vintage instruments at a premium—and leave them sitting in inventory for months, waiting for a buyer willing to pay top dollar. That’s not my approach. I prefer to list guitars with as low of a markup as possible, to get them into the hands of players and collectors quickly—so I can bring in new inventory. This is why you’ll consistently see my guitars priced lower than much of the competition.
