A completely original and fantastic
Vintage Gibson early 1960's "soapbar" P-90 pickup
100% factory original, never rewound or repaired. These early 60's p-90's sound absolutely glorious! Nice HOT output at 8.09k - This example had a portion of the top bobbin crack off. This is not uncommon as they are relatively fragile, The area of exposed coil has been taped over with vintage-spec "paper" pickup tape - the same tape used on the edges of the coils to protect the windings. It still functions perfectly - this does not affect the tone in any way - once installed under a standard cover this will not be visible and the p90 will be fully protected. Priced accordingly!
This is a perfect candidate for the restoration of your 50's or 60's vintage Gibson p-90 guitar.
